The Japanese members of the council included in the list submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Japan's Ambassador to Ankara Akio Miyajima in March 2019;

TJU TURKISH COUNCIL MEMBERS APPOINTED ON 18 JANUARY 2019.

Following the Presidential Appointment Decision numbered 2019/31, published in the Official Gazette of 18 January 2019, on behalf of the Republic of Türkiye, six members of the Council were appointed within the scope of the agreement.

THE LAW ON THE FOUNDATION OF THE TURKISH-JAPANESE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY WAS SIGNED AND PUBLISHED IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE.

On June 24, 2017, the Law on the Establishment of the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University, dated 18/6/2017 and numbered 7034, was signed by our President and entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette numbered 30106.

AGREEMENT ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TURKISH- JAPANESE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY ENTERED INTO FORCE BY PUBLISHING IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE

The agreement on the establishment of the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University was signed by our President on October 3, 2016, and entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette No. 29846.

AGREEMENT DATED JUNE 30, 2016

The agreement on the establishment of the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University was signed on 30 June 2016 between the Undersecretary of the Ministry of National Education Yusuf Tekin and the Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi OKA.

MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TURKISH-JAPANESE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY IS SIGNED AND PUBLISHED

On January 7, 2014, the memorandum of cooperation on the establishment of the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University was signed and published in Tokyo by the ambassadors of the two countries in the presence of the prime ministers of two countries.

PREPARATORY COMMITTEE ESTABLISHED

Within the scope of the “Joint Declaration on the Establishment of Strategic Partnership Relationship Between Japan and the Republic of Turkey” signed by Prime Minister Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN and Prime Minister of Japan Mr. Shinzo ABE, a consensus was reached on the establishment of a science and technology university and a preparatory committee consisting of Turkish and Japanese representatives was established for this purpose.
