STUDENT AFFAIRS OFFICER
Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University (TJU) is a government university located in Pendik, Istanbul based on the agreement signed between Turkish and Japanese Governments. Within the framework of the agreement between the two governments; we aim to establish advanced scientific research and education while focusing on graduate programs and integrating with international platforms.
We are looking for a Student Affairs Officer to join our Student Affairs Department, with the following qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduated from relevant university departments (Business Administration, Economics, Educational Administration, Public Administration, etc.),
- Experienced in student affairs and academic unit curricula,
- Experienced in course exemptions and transfer procedures,
- Preferably at least 3-5 years of experience in a university student affairs department,
- Proficient in Higher Education Council (YÖK) regulations, student regulations, ÖSYM processes, and other relevant legislations,
- Preferably experienced in student information systems (e.g., OBS, YÖKSİS),
- Preferably experienced in Electronic Document Management Systems (EBYS),
- Advanced spoken and written English skills to support international student processes,
- Experienced in managing stakeholder collaborations,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data processing applications,
- Strong communication skills, with problem-solving abilities, attention to details, and a strong sense of responsibility,
- Team-oriented with a student-focused service approach,
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Managing student admissions, registration, and graduation processes,
- Overseeing course registrations, grade entries, and transcript arrangements,
- Supporting scholarship applications, lateral/vertical transfers, double major, and minor program processes,
- Organizing exam schedules, course timetables, and graduation procedures in line with the academic calendar,
- Handling inquiries and requests from students and academic staff,
- Conducting official correspondence with ÖSYM, YÖK, and other governmental institutions,
- Assisting with international student processes, including recognition of prior learning, visas, and residence permits,
- Managing international student records from pre-registration to graduation, processing document requests, and monitoring equivalency procedures,
- Responding to international students’ requests for standard documents, both online and in person,
- Preparing reports and tracking data entry processes for the department,
- Coordinating student affairs processes in collaboration with relevant academic and administrative units,
- Monitoring and assisting with students' academic status, providing guidance and advisory services,
- Informing internal and external stakeholders about guidelines and procedures,
- Preparing official correspondence through the electronic document management system,
- Tracking University Higher Administration and Council decisions, ensuring their implementation,
- Keeping the Student Affairs Department website updated with relevant announcements and information,
- Supporting the development of the academic calendar,

ACCOUNTING OFFICER
Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University (TJU) is a government university located in Pendik, Istanbul based on the agreement signed between Turkish and Japanese Governments. We are looking for an “Accounting Officer” to work in the Financial Affairs Department of the university, having the following qualifications.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduated from relevant departments of universities (Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Economics, etc.)
- Fluent in spoken and written English,
- At least 3-5 years of experience in General Accounting,
- Knowledge of university legislation and experience in university accounting,
- Know how to use the Logo Accounting program,
- Advanced knowledge in preparing and interpreting financial statements,
- Knowledge of tax, SGK, commercial law, uniform chart of accounts and its applications,
- Ability to use MS Office programs effectively,
- Experienced in budget preparation,
- Preferably with an SMMM certificate,
- Prone to teamwork,
- Advanced planning, analysis, reporting, control, follow-up, coordination and presentation skills,
- Detailed and analytical thinking, solution and result-oriented, strong communication skills,
- Completed military service for male candidates,
- Ability to adapt to flexible working hours.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Processing incoming e-invoices and paper invoices,
- Daily processing of bank transactions,
- Preparation of daily payment instructions,
- Up-to-date monitoring of cash flow,
- Keeping detailed income and expenditure statements up to date,
- Opening current accounts of companies,
- Periodic BA-BS and Current Reconciliations,
- Regular processing of expense receipts,
- Ensuring invoicing and control,
- Preparation of budget and actual statements,
- Execution of E-ledger, E-invoice, E-archive processes,
- Preparation of legal declarations (Corporate, Provisional, VAT, Withholding Tax, etc.),
- Correspondence with official institutions and following up the correspondence personally, (Ministry of National Education, Presidency of Strategy and Budget and similar)
- Supporting payroll processes,
- Periodic reporting to senior management,

IT SYSTEMS RESPONSIBLE

We are looking for an IT Systems Responsible to join our Information Technology Department, with the following qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduated from relevant departments of universities (Computer Science/ Engineering etc.),
- At least 3-5 years of system administration experience,
- Experienced in Windows server systems,
- Advance Knowledge in network management (LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall, Wi-Fi) and cybersecurity,
- Familiar with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud systems,
- Proficient in Active Directory, Office 365, and email server management,
- Experienced in backup and recovery operations,
- Having strong knowledge of information security, data storage, data protection, and disaster recovery with hands-on experience in enterprise systems,
- Advanced spoken and written English skills,
- Preferably experienced in Electronic Document Management Systems (EBYS),
- Preferably experienced in a university or educational institution with a similar role,
- Knowledgeable in information security standards (ISO 27001, KVKK, etc.),
- Proficient in programming or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.),

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Managing and improving the University's IT infrastructure,
- Installing, maintaining, and managing server, network, and security systems,
- Ensuring the data backup, disaster recovery plans, and cybersecurity measures,
- Providing technical support to users and managing troubleshooting processes,
- Analyzing software and hardware needs and implementing appropriate solutions,
- Monitoring system performance and implementing continuous improvements,
- Developing and enforcing IT security policies,
- Overseeing the daily operation of High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems to ensure uninterrupted functionality,
- Identifying and reporting HPC system failures and performing necessary interventions,
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and system issues,
- Communicating with hardware and software vendors for maintenance and warranty services,
- Managing data center monitoring and administration, including licenses, maintenance contracts, and warranty tracking,
- Collecting usage statistics, preparing monthly reports, and planning HPC system expansions,
