Prof. Dr. Takao KAMIBEPPU, Vice Dean at Fukuyama University and Visiting Researcher at Hiroshima University in Japan visited TJU Rector.
Mr. Shinzo Abe was a passionate and visionary leader. His excellency the president of Türkiye, Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOGAN, and the late former Prime Minister of Japan, H.E. Mr. Shinzo ABE are the founders of the Turkish Japanese Science and Technology University (TJU).
On June 2 and 3, a group of visitors led by Dr. Bekir Sami Yilbas, Rector (President) and professor of Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University (TJU), toured Tokyo Tech campuses.

Presidential Decree No. 2 and 3 Pursuant to Article 3, Prof. Dr. Bekir Sami YILBAS has been appointed.
1st council meeting of Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University was held at Mabeyn Mansion, Besiktas.
The Japanese members of the council included in the list submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Japan's Ambassador to Ankara Akio Miyajima in March 2019;
Following the Presidential Appointment Decision numbered 2019/31, published in the Official Gazette of 18 January 2019, on behalf of the Republic of Türkiye, six members of the Council were appointed within the scope of the agreement.
On June 24, 2017, the Law on the Establishment of the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University, dated 18/6/2017 and numbered 7034, was signed by our President and entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette numbered 30106.
The agreement on the establishment of the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University was signed by our President on October 3, 2016, and entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette No. 29846.
The agreement on the establishment of the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University was signed on 30 June 2016 between the Undersecretary of the Ministry of National Education Yusuf Tekin and the Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi OKA.
