AGREEMENT DATED JUNE 30, 2016

The agreement on the establishment of the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University was signed on 30 June 2016 between the Undersecretary of the Ministry of National Education Yusuf Tekin and the Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi OKA.

MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TURKISH-JAPANESE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY IS SIGNED AND PUBLISHED

On January 7, 2014, the memorandum of cooperation on the establishment of the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University was signed and published in Tokyo by the ambassadors of the two countries in the presence of the prime ministers of two countries.

PREPARATORY COMMITTEE ESTABLISHED

Within the scope of the “Joint Declaration on the Establishment of Strategic Partnership Relationship Between Japan and the Republic of Turkiye” signed by Prime Minister Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN and Prime Minister of Japan Mr. Shinzo ABE, a consensus was reached on the establishment of a science and technology university and a preparatory committee consisting of Turkish and Japanese representatives was established for this purpose.
