Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University

A state university established in the Republic of Türkiye through an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of Japan.
Our university has a strong academic and research infrastructure that brings together leading academics from Türkiye and Japan. This structure, centered on research and development, is not limited to educational activities but is built upon active research and development processes. Our management and academic staff, which includes Nobel laureates, support our students in developing a strong research culture from an early stage.

A New Model in Engineering Education

Education at the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University is based on an integrated model based not only on academic knowledge but also on application and industry experience. The eight-semester intensive undergraduate program (normally 4 years, but structured to allow students to optionally utilize the summer semester and finish in 3 years) provides students with academic depth in a shorter time; while Japanese language training, offered in addition to English-language instruction, enables our graduates to quickly adapt to international work environments.

Industry-Integrated Education and International Experience in Real-World Projects

Our university provides its students with direct industry experience during their education through internship protocols with national industrial organizations and Japanese technology companies. This model, developed in collaboration with national and international firms, enables students to actively participate in real-world project environments. With its technology and R&D-focused approach, it offers undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in innovative projects within national and international collaborations, primarily with Japan.
