Professor Dr. Mustafa Verşan Kök, Rector of the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University (TJU), visited the Earthquake Research Institute (ERI), The University of Tokyo, on June 11, 2026.
Rector Kök met with Director Takashi Furumura and faculty members of ERI to discuss opportunities for strengthening collaboration in research and education related to earthquake science and disaster resilience.
The visit also provided an opportunity to formalize a new agreement for academic cooperation between TJU and ERI, establishing a framework for collaboration in earthquake and disaster-related research and for academic exchange activities between the ERI and TJU.
