Professor Dr. Mustafa Verşan Kök, Rector of the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University (TJU), visited the University of Tsukuba on June 10, 2026.
During the visit, Rector Kök met with President Kyosuke Nagata, vice presidents, and faculty members of the University of Tsukuba. The discussions focused on opportunities to expand cooperation in education, research, academic exchange, and student mobility between the two institutions.
A new university-wide agreement was signed between TJU and the University of Tsukuba, reaffirming the commitment of both institutions to strengthening their long-term academic partnership. In addition, a Memorandum for Student Exchange was concluded to facilitate future student mobility and academic exchange activities.
The agreements provide a framework for further collaboration in education, research, and international academic exchange between the two universities.
TJU extends its sincere appreciation to the University of Tsukuba for its warm hospitality and continued cooperation.
