1st COUNCIL MEETING OF THE TURKISH-JAPANESE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY

1st council meeting of Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University was held at Mabeyn Mansion, Besiktas.

Turkish council members (Presidential Spokesperson Prof. Ibrahim Kalin, Prof. Dr. Ismail Demir, Prof. Dr. M.A Yekta Sarac, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozkan and Naci Agbal, and Dr. Yener Mehmet Sonusen) and Japanese members (Head of Japan Science and Technology Agency Research and Development Center and Nobel Prize winner Prof. Dr. Ryoji Noyori, Prof. Dr. Yoichiro Matsumoto, Japan Ambassador Kiyoshi Araki, Japan Ambassador Toichi Sakata) attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the steps to be taken in accordance with the vision and mission of the university were determined, and in the voting, Prof. Dr. İsmail DEMİR was elected as the Chairman of the Council and Ambassador Kiyoshi ARAKİ was elected as the Vice-Chair.
