Princess Akiko of Mikasa Meets with Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Verşan KÖK
Princess Akiko of Mikasa, who has been visiting our country for nine days on various official engagements, was joined by our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Verşan KÖK at the conference titled “The Strong Bond Across Three Generations in the Mikasa Family: Friendship with Türkiye”, hosted by İş Bank. Rector KÖK invited Princess Akiko of Mikasa to the opening ceremony of the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University (TJU), scheduled for 2026. Providing information about the university, the Rector also highlighted the contributions TJU is expected to make to the academic cooperation between the two countries.
