Rector of Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University Visits Institute of Science Tokyo

As part of our efforts to strengthen academic cooperation between Türkiye and Japan, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Verşan Kök, visited Institute of Science Tokyo on June 9, 2026.

During the visit, Rector Kök held discussions with President and CEO Naoto Ohtake and senior representatives of Institute of Science Tokyo on further expanding collaboration in education, research, academic exchange, and joint scientific initiatives. The meeting also provided an opportunity to explore new areas of cooperation that will contribute to the development of both institutions.

A significant milestone of the visit was the signing of a new Institutional-Level Agreement between Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University (TJU) and Institute of Science Tokyo, reaffirming the commitment of both universities to a long-term academic partnership.

As a university established through the cooperation of the Republic of Türkiye and Japan, TJU places great importance on building strong relationships with leading Japanese institutions. We look forward to advancing joint research projects, academic mobility opportunities, and innovative collaborations that will benefit our students, researchers, and faculty members.

We sincerely thank Institute of Science Tokyo for their warm hospitality and continued support.
